We (Steve & Laurence) founded wdPro in 2018 after years working together providing test management and change management to dozens of Workday, SAP and other implementations.
We both rapidly realised that business transformation programmes involving Workday and other SaaS solutions were different and needed a re-imagined approach to change and test management. Resolving recurrent challenges occurring at various clients we began to formulate the approach which we now deliver as our Quality Assurance Framework.
Now we have built up wdPro Global to provide all the key ingredients for a properly managed, monitored and tested SaaS implementation.
Laurence founded wdPro in 2018 to help clients bind their Workday and SAP implementation programmes together with a proven Quality Assurance framework. His career began as a software developer and project manager back in the late 1990s. Laurence quickly realised that software was only as good as the people commissioning it and this is where he began working closely with users and businesses to ensure they understood exactly what their requirements were and that any new software was being rigorously tested to meet those requirements.
Today, Laurence works with clients to support them with managing and understanding their implementation partners. Through wdPro, he delivers tried and tested methods to control the testing and acceptance of Workday and other SaaS solutions. Laurence has been working with Workday since 2015 and has been involved in many successful transformation programmes for a wide range of companies.
Steve is an accomplished Project and Operations Director with over 15 years experience in operations, HR delivery and technical project management within the public and private sectors. He has been responsible for delivering cultural and behavioural change strategies for some of the leading FTSE100 companies. Steve is accomplished in Workday project implementation and has taken Test Lead roles in multiple Phase 1 and Phase X projects. Working alongside Laurence, Steve brings significant practical experience to wdPro and has an enviable understanding of Workday and its functionality. Steve welcomes the opportunity to work with in-house project teams, helping them to understand what they need to know about the Workday system. Given his experience and knowledge, Steve is perfectly placed to help present testing plans and updates to senior executives within the business. As he says, a large part of his job is counselling - bringing the team together, keeping them going when it gets tough and explaining to the wider business why the changes are required.
